My latest web project, the relaunch of professional photographer Spencer Brown's website, has just gone live! Built on the wonderful Radiant CMS with a bunch of extensions. I heavily relied on the gallery extension by Andrea Franz. Great work, man! The design is pretty sleak, too.

Long time, no post. I finally took the time and launched a little web project of my own - a rails-based VIN (Vehicle Identification Numbers) decipher for vintage US muscle cars. Just got tired of looking up codes in list scattered across the Internet. Support for makes is limited right now (Chevy only but who cares about Ford anyway?) but you should definitely still
check it out.

My latest web project, the relaunch of author and musician St. James' website, has just gone live! Aside from the typical biography-type content we put up quite a lot of samples of St. James' work - novel excerpts, poems short stories, and several songs as well. I'm very excited about the site and feel like this is one of the nicest designs I've come up with so far.

Its finally done! The Global Education Safaris website went life yesterday! My main tasks were to come up with a design and then implement the website, which mainly meant turning the mockups into HTML code and customizing Radiant CMS to our needs Global Education Safaris specializes in private customized safaris to East Africa for clients interested in gaining a deeper understanding of global development issues such as education, health, environment and development themes.

I developed a Faculty Performance Evaluation Concept for the Faculty Evaluation Committee of the Monterey Institute of International Studies. The concept examines the Institute's strategic plan and derives objectives for Faculty from the findings. It then develops a framework for evaluating faculty's success in reaching those objectives and ties achievement to Merit Payment, a bonus payment for high-performing faculty members.

After successfully launching the Personal Financial Planning workshop as pilot boot camp (see earlier post) a survey was developed to find out what workshops in particular are of interest to the local community. The survey was then implemented as a web application.

Zenoss Inc., an Annapolis, MD based open source software firm, was looking for attractive markets to expand into with their Enterprise IT Management offerings. A student team from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, including myself, analyzed potential target markets and developed entry strategies. This is our capstone project and master thesis equivalent. Since the final report contains sensitive company information I only attached the document structure.

The Fisher Graduate School of International Business at Monterey Institute of International Studies offers a variety of weekend workshops to its students. The school is currently working on expanding these offerings to non-students as certificate programs. The Personal Financial Planning aka The Millionaire Boot Camp was the first road test. I designed and developed the respective campaign website as a core promotion activity.

Subtitled "An analysis of AOL Germany's possibilities to enter new markets by opening up selected products" is at the same time consulting project for AOL and my undergraduate thesis on market entry and product strategies. I looked at possibilities for un-bundling marketable premium services (e.g. parental controls) from the "AOL Membership", an umbrella subscription. Since it was written for AOL and contains sensitive company information I only attached the structure and introduction.
